Lark Energy Development - a record of delivery in renewable energy

At Lark Energy Development we have extensive experience of delivering renewable energy projects – particularly large-scale solar PV.

Lark Energy is one of the leading companies in the UK solar energy business. We have developed more than 300 MWp of PV generation capacity, including some of the UK’s largest solar farms.

Because we offer a fully integrated service from a single source we can take a project from initial feasibility studies and arranging funding right through to construction, connection, operation and maintenance. Clients which engage Lark Energy can be confident that we have the expertise, experience and resources to see the project through from inception to completion – and beyond.

We have successfully delivered projects for clients and investors in the corporate, agricultural and public sectors.

One of the keys to our success is our care in selecting sites and then engaging with local communities at an early stage. We ensure that our designs do not just minimise adverse environmental impacts but deliver positive environmental gains – for example, by creating new farming and wildlife habitats.

We are currently taking this one stage further with a number of sites which will provide opportunities for community investment, providing real financial returns for local people.

Our business is run by a qualified chartered surveyor and we have both qualified and experienced in-house staff who will work with landowners throughout the process.

We pride ourselves on being an ethical developer. If you engage with us then we will take your scheme through the development process. We do not sell our schemes to other developers and we do not ask landowners to sign up for exclusivity or letters of authority with no intention of developing their sites.

We look to work on either brownfield sites or lower grade agricultural land (grade 3b or below). We carry out full feasibility studies early in the process to ensure suitability and the best possible chances of gaining a planning consent.
